"H.V.S.O.P.O.W."
August 24, 2000, 7:56 pm |
The slacker has returned. Getting ready to move back to campus and rapping
up my computer.
In RED news HAS is back on the case. Now that he's in semi human form
he's once again shrinking the size of the terminal graphics. Once he's done
I think everything is ready to ship. Claude will have an installer ready
and this dang TC will be yours.
While I was waiting for some E-mail I re did the clut files for multiplayer.
Not instead of green marines with brightly colored pads we have a series
of camoflauged graphics. HAS brought it to
my aattention that some might frown on the idea of some players getting
to be camoflauged while others would stick out. If you personally don;t
like it I will have a clut patch available for download to return the graphics
back to good'ol green.
As for the music poll, it was decided that the original music will be
used. (85% for orignal style)
It also seems I've been sucked into the marathon Ressurection
Team... I think I'm going to need some more free time.
ALMOST DONE!! |

Out of my stupidity I put up that poll not realising I was breaking my
agreement with the BigHouse. It is gone and that poll will never return.
I might however get one set up with Claude.
Oh masterful Errera, please forgive this poor soul... |

Seven days later and I still haven't gotten my lazy butt up to take care
of the weapons page. oh well... Anyway, the guy
that one the music contest for RED goes by the name Mushoo.
he wrote the music and now he's written it again. This second version though
he likes better I personally don't think it fits RED. (Sounds like the Bond
theme) Here's his website:
htttp://www.mp3.com/Mushoo Go
here for both of the versions. They're about 1.2 meg each in mp3 format.
Tell me which one you like better via this butt ugly poll I got from *REMOVED*...how's
that for advertising? |

Rainer has finished the beta run. The bug reports are in. Seems we picked
up some more help. Bill Catamby from the Excalibur team, Mike Trinder (Chisel
Programmer), and Shebob (Excalibur, Pfh'Joeur) all have been helping out.
This Level 3 problem is going down...
I've also skipped a few steps and smacked Jagermeister ahead of time.
I've also been told I missed a section of this site for the upgrade.
The weapons section... |

I think the entire site has been converted over
to the new theme. I like this new look. I might just make a kalidescope
theme of it. But first I must get RED out to you people.
Things left to do:
- Compress Terminal Picts
- Fix level 3
- Let Rainer finish testing
- Tone down Mikey and Josh's power
- Remove beta features
- Smack Jagermeister
- Have Claude Compress it all down into an installer
- Shout, "HE HE IT'S DONE"...Then make another one...

Got a little more of the sight converted over to
the new graphic theme. Has a sorta Matrix meats Starcraft feel to it, eh?
Now...I got to head over to work.
Beta news...uh...It still needs work... |

The main creatures page now shows off some spiffy
new animation and java script.
Beta news, HAS contacted me and is a little busy
but will try to get some RED stuff in. |

Okay so the creatures page didn't get fixed this
morning. I was looking for a decent GIF animator to use for some spiffy
menu options for that page. Should have it all set up by the end of the
day. Besides...I've got to go shoping!...er...got to...fix RED yes that's
it...heh he..oh hum... |

I finally updated the web site to keep watchers
up to date on RED's current point. Rainer and I are currently trying to
fix a major tag problem with level 3. Jane has played her way through the
entire scenario and reported all the bugs she could. I've also redone the
dying animation for the turtle so that it isn't so friggen big. Omega cannon
problem solved so that it no longer crashes the computer when fired down.
I'll try to get the broken links in the creatures
sections fixed in the morning.
Oh, and yes this page was based off the Bungie.org
site design...I'm really Claude's evil twin MUHAHAHAHA....er...okay I'm
not...sorry... |
