Puzzle Tips

This level may be hard to figure out. You've teleported onto an alien ship orbiting Jupiter, and you must figure out how to teleport back out.

First, find a chip (it'll be in the crescent-shaped rooms, which are accessed through the D-shaped rooms at either 4 and 8 o'clock on the inner ring). Insert it in the control room at 3 o'clock -- the socket is a small green square near the right side of the window. This opens the door into the room the window overlooks -- go in there and smash the circuits at the far back of the room to open the door to the outer ring.

Go into the bridge at 12 o'clock on the outer ring and smash two circuits to open two other doors on the outer ring.

Travelling counterclockwise, enter the first room after the bridge and grab the chip. In the next room counterclockwise around the ring, insert the chip at the right end of the room and smash the circuits that are exposed. On the way back out, run into the room that just opened at the left and grab the chip.

Go to 6 o'clock on the outer ring and turn north towards the middle to the main control chamber. Insert the last chip in the green panel. Then hit the red switch and jump down into the reactivated teleporter.

Combat Tips

It is very important, at least on Total Carnage, to do your best to take out Enforcers with weapons that won't fry their guns. Dropped Enforcer weapons will be important, as they're just about the only source of new ammo on this level.

On TC, it is important to learn where you need to go and where you don't. The room with the ticks is important, as there's a 3x charger in there. There is a less-important goodie (infravision) near an Enforcer in that area as well. There are some spare alien weapons in the crescent rooms, and there are other goodies in the chamber you get to from 11 o'clock on the inner ring. There's a cargo bay at 4:30 on the outer ring that has a 2x charger, but it may not be worth getting thanks to three Enforcers. Try to lure them closer to the dormant Juggernaut, then use one shot to take them all out.
