First, the chip insertion socket is in the cargo bay, though you'll need to flip a switch up in the control room to access it.

Next, explore the east end of the complex, read the terminal in the maintenance passageways (reading the term opens a door), and then smash the circuits in the computer core (also in the maintenance passageways).

Now go back to the cargo bay control room and find the newly-opened door there. Once you've passed the natural cavern and entered the oval room, go up to the reservoir and smash all 4 circuits there.

In the geothermal power core area, flip the switch guarded by a blue hunter. You must take the teleporter to escape. Your shuttle's AI will not be able to succeed in any rescue attempts.

Combat Tips

Nothing special, but be sure to conserve ammo for the next level. Note that you can conserve a lot by never going down to the geothermal core until AFTER the area has been flooded with water. The hunters can still fire under water, but nothing else down there will be able to. Punch the rest to death, keeping the O2 cannisters in the ammo supply room in mind.
