Puzzle Tips

The goal here is to kill every enemy and read a term deep underground. (You'll know it when you find it.)

The only trick is finding the chip, which is easy, and inserting it in the right slot. (Only one card slot will work, and it's at the northeast corner of the building.) Beyond that, everything involved here is just killing Chtakt scum!

Combat Tips

The Keepers are completely invulnerable to anything humans or Chtakt can throw at them. Use this to your advantage. You can, if you're clever, lure almost all the Chtakt into an encounter with a Keeper and then sit back and watch. All it'll cost you is maybe a pistol shot or two to keep the Chtakt's attention, and maybe a little shield energy (which is infinitely replacable on this level).

At the end, however, you meet a large group of Masters. Don't count entirely on the Keepers here on Total Carnage. They'll need your help. With your help, you may even keep all of them alive. Keep in mind that you can't hurt the Keepers, so don't worry if a stray shot hits them. Also, every Master whose attention is focused on you is one less to hassle the Keepers, and they don't dodge as well as you.

(You may be wondering why you can kill the Masters, but not the Keepers, while the Masters CAN kill the Keepers. Well, this will all be revealed in future sequels, if any.)
