The Atlanteans You discovered them in an alternate dimension back before the days of Event Horizon. They seem to communicate telepathically, and have allied themselves with the Federation. So where did Atlantis go? Another dimension? At least, that's what I decided back when I made the Quantumire Trilogy. "Speak telepathically and carry a big sword..." (If TR was an alien.)
